I've been busting out Alexandra Burke's new tune 'Bad Boys' since it's Radio 1 premier on Tuesday and i must confide - it'll definately be murdering dancefloors come October 9th when it is officially released.
The song includes a rather shit 'rap' from Flo Rida who is featured within the introduction, pronouncing Burke's name as 'Alexander' before overconfidently admitting: 'girl, i know what you like' (typical, American twat anyone?) He is also apparent in the bridge, but you'd need a translater to understand half of what he is saying, so we won't go into that. In retrospect; Flo Rida does nothing for this song. You wouldn't think i was biased, eh?
However, in contrast, Al-ex-an-dra (take note, Flo) makes up for all the negative input with a seductively sassy vocal performance which demonstrates why we all fell in the love with her on 2008's series of the X Factor. The production provocatively seeps into your bloodstream until the infectious, hard-hitting beats, reminiscent of Britney Spears' 'Womanizer', will have you dancing for your lives. Personally, the slapstick 'doo-wop' sound effect makes it for me.
I'm sure 'Bad Boys' will be robbing top spots all over the world very soon, but in the meantime you can decide for yourself by listening to it here:
